Reservations Policy
Check-in/check-out
Check-in time: 5pm
Check-out time: 9am
Please ensure you adhere to these check-in and check-out times, which are required in order to allow our cleaners to prepare the property for you and for our next guests. Failure to vacate the property by the check-out time will incur extra cleaning fees to account for additional waiting time by the cleaners. Where same-day turnaround cleans are not required we may be able to offer earlier check-in or later check-out times, but this is at the sole discretion of the owners of East Ayrlow Banks – please enquire nearer your check-in date.
Payment
A deposit payment of 50% of the total booking fee is due at the time of booking, and final payment is required no later than 2 weeks prior to check-in date. Non-payment by the due date may, at the sole discretion of the owners of East Ayrlow Banks, be treated as notice of cancellation.
Cancellation policy
The 50% deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable. Cancellations within 7 calendar days of the check-in date will result in a 100% charge of the full booking fee.
Damage deposit
A refundable damage deposit of £250 is required at the time of booking. This will be refunded within 7 days of check-out provided that:
No damage has been caused to the property or its contents;
ALL rubbish has been disposed of in the bin provided where the track meets the village;
All dog/pet fouling in the garden has been cleared up;
All used crockery, cutlery, cookware etc has been placed in the dishwasher;
All House Rules and Pet Policy requirements have been adhered to.
Maximum occupancy
Strict maximum occupancy of 10 people (excluding infants under 2 years) in the property at any time.
Extra charge per dog
Up to two dogs are permitted, with prior approval. An additional charge of £20 per dog per stay applies. Please read our Pet Policy for pet-specific rules. Any damage / additional cleaning required because of dogs may incur extra fees.
Smoking policy
East Ayrlow Banks is a non-smoking property.
